The National Remote Sensing and Space Science Authority participates in the Cairo ICT23 exhibition.

NARSS suite includes the presentation of many of its remote sensing and space science products and services

- Meetings with companies and institutions participating in the exhibition to discuss cooperation in remote sensing and space science.

The National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Science participated in the 27th session of the Cairo ICT23, held from 19 to 22 November 2023, under the auspices of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelfattah Al-Sisi, and in the presence and honour of Dr. Mustafa Madboli, Prime Minister.

The National Remote Sensing and Space Science Authority suite at the exhibition included many of its remote sensing and space science products and services. The body presented a series of space images of applications for tracking spatial changes in agriculture, land reclamation, exploration of land and fortuitous wealth and monitoring of beach changes in both the glacier and the northern coast, assessment and prediction of climate changes in the Mediterranean coast, forecasting of agricultural pests using artificial intelligence, as well as a series of remote sensing products, including satellite models, as well as the presentation of space image analysis services, Earth observation services and planning and development services.

The participation of the National Remote Sensing and Space Science Authority in the International Telecommunications Fair was of great interest to visitors, who visited the National Remote Sensing and Space Science Authority ' s wing to identify its products and services, and held a number of meetings with companies and institutions participating in the Fair; and to discuss ways of cooperating in remote sensing and space science.


The Authority's wing includes the presentation of specialized activities in remote sensing, geographic information systems and artificial intelligence applications, providing interactive platforms using artificial intelligence in agricultural and pest control applications, as well as some digital coverage applications as well as atlases for new delta projects.

For his part, Dr. Islam Abu Al-Magd, Chairman of the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Science, referred to the inclusion of the Authority services in the cloud computing platform, noting that the Authority serves many national projects serving the purposes of sustainable development. This participation is a reflection of the Authority commitment to providing innovative solutions in the fields of technology and space, thereby strengthening its leading role in the development of research projects and scientific applications.

The Chairman of the Board noted that the purpose of the exhibit was to introduce its products and services, promote cooperation with companies and institutions involved in remote sensing and space science and participate in the discussion of the latest developments in remote sensing and space science.
